Come one, come all to the THIRTEENTH Peoples' Chron X Trivia!
If you didn't know, this trivia is about Chron X!
You don't have to own every card just so you can know every single one by heart; you can get detailed card descriptions through Eytan Zweig's excellent DeckAlyz available at Birdwatcher's Homepage.
Prizes will be provided by ga! Top winners will receive top VR's and/or R's!

This event is free and open to all Chron X players!

Trivia Format

1. XX Questions (including X WNH). You'll not only need to know all Chron X cards' stats inside-out, but also their flavor text, and any special text that gets displayed on the game screen during their play! This event should run for somewhere around two hours (more or less).

2. A Correct answer gets you points. The amount of points per question will depend on the difficulty of the question:

#easy# questions give 1 point each to the first three correct answers.
#average# questions give 2 points to the first correct answer and 1 point to the second.
#difficult# questions give 3 points to the first correct answer and 1 point to the runner-up.

Furthermore, 3 questions per game, 1 for each difficulty category, will award ^Double^ the normal points: 2/2/2 for easy, 4/2 for average, and 6/2 for difficult. Normally, the last question of the game is a double difficult! ;-]

And finally, every 3-4 trivias, on a 100th question in the history of the Peoples' Trivia, a special #easy# question will reward at triple the normal value (i.e. 3/3/3). These question will be marked with {500th Anniversary}, with 500 being an example, depending on the actual number.

You'll get prizes according to how many points you have at the end of the game. The more points—the better the prize. As a consolation prize, there will be a bonus question for all of the players who didn't place within the top-5 positions. The first person to answer it correctly will get one decent (non-crap) rare!! This will usually be a very easy question. Top-5 players who wish to participate just for kicks will need to type "TOP5" next to their answer.

Warning: If you leave before the trivia is over and I can't find you, you will forfeit your prize! Optionally, you may agree with another player to collect the prize for you if they stay and you leave, but both of you have to tell me beforehand (plus remind me after the game, just in case.)

3. Full answers on the same line. Example: If the answer is "Bion Cell Drone" then that is what I'll accept, not "BCD" or some other short-form. If you take a short-cut with the answer — that's cheating and I won't allow it. And if the question requires multiple answers, they should be on the same line. Mostly correct spelling is also required! If you're off by like a letter, I'll let it go, but if it's really bad, I'll have to give it to the first person with close-enough spelling. Capitalization, quotations, or special characters are not a requirement.

4. I, Judge - Igal, will be asking the questions using ALL CAPS and the players must whisper the answers to me. When I get the amount of correct answers that I need, I will say "STOP" and announce the the names of the players who won points, followed by the correct answer and then the current total score for all players. Player are strictly forbidden from revealing the answer to a question before I say "STOP"; Those who do not comply may get disqualified!!
After all the questions are through, I'll take 2 minutes to discuss the game and listen to the players' comments & suggestions. Finally I'll offer a trade request to the winners so that I can award the prize-cards. The prizes will be awarded in order starting from first and progressing to last.

5. WNH = "Wit & Humour Questions". What that means is that I ask a question for which there is no standard answer and the participants try to answer with as funny an answer as possible. For example, if I ask: "What is the favorite food of Harness Bull", an acceptable answer might be something like: "MechDonald's Happy Meal", or "Jack-Ups Bar's Beer & Pretzels", etc. So when you see *WNH* in the question, this is what I mean. =) Remember, creativity and originality count the most! Please keep this PG-rated. Standard Core rules apply as to what kinds of objecionable phrases or words may be used.
Note: These questions have a time limit of 3 minutes. Also, these questions are completely optional and do not give any points - they are mainly for fun and for breaking the tension. If you need to grab a cold-one or get rid of one, this is your chance! =)

6. If there is a tie for 1st through 5th place winners, there will be tie breaking questions. In order to avoid random people interfering in these critical questions, they will be asked in a private room with only the contestants present. The room will have a name like: "Lonepine & Tigger ONLY", etc. Please do not enter this room unless you are invited; Those who do not comply may get kicked!!

Due to popular demand, I have made the questions from previous Peoples' Trivias available for browsing. Simply click on the title of each trivia in the Top Players list above. Note: I do not recommend copying my questions and using them in your own trivias; not because I don't want some lazy-ass stealing my hard work :) but because many of the answers to my questions were made obsolete after the release of Defiance or the occasional card-changes (plus my average 1-2 goofups per game).
